Carter, is a proud South Carolina native, having spent his entire life in Rock Hill. He grew up deeply rooted in Rock Hill Schools, attending Richmond Drive Elementary, Sullivan Middle, and currently thriving at Rock Hill High School. Throughout his academic journey, Carter developed a strong passion for leadership and business.

Previously as Vice President of Marketing for Rock Hill High School DECA, Carter's dedication propelled him to become the organization's President. His experience as VP provided valuable insights, enabling him to lead with great effectiveness.

Carter also serves as the Director of Operations at Ellis Thomas Properties, his family's rental company. Here, he ensures smooth operations and exceptional service. Additionally, he holds the role of President of Student Ambassadors within the Rock Hill Schools Education Foundation, promoting student engagement and advocacy. He also serves on the foundation's grant review committee and as an ex-officio member of the Board of Directors. 

Carter aims to pursue a major in Computer Science at the University of South Carolina, followed by attending the university's Law School for a law degree. By blending his expertise in technology with the intricacies of law, he envisions a meaningful and impactful career.

Beyond his professional and academic pursuits, Carter is dedicated to community engagement and philanthropy. He enjoys golfing and traveling in his leisure time, fueling his passion for exploration and personal growth.
